The Families seek more funding. The cost of finding their loved ones is costing an absolute mint! It is tragic, for the right amount of money, these 7 people could be saved.
On July 5th, the RCCNZ suspended the search for the yacht, the Nina. The families asked Equusearch to help advise them. Ralph Baird, with Equusearch, amassed a team of specialist to identify the best way to locate the missing yacht.
Meanwhile, the families continue their efforts to obtain information and assistance from the government of New Zealand and assistance and support from the government of the United States. The U.S. Coast Guard has referred the families to the State Department Office of Crisis Intervention, rather than the Coast Guard providing assistance.
It is hard to believe 7 lives may depend upon whether enough people will contribute adequate sums to bring the Nina 7 home. Without critical funding, Matthew Wootton, Kyle Jackson, Evi Nemeth, Danielle Wright, David Dyche, Rosemary Dyche and David Dyche IV may be forsaken.
Please make the single largest donation you can to the Nina Equusearch fund. If that is the cost of a couple of lattes, so be it.
